"Free CeCe!"

An amazing public panel focuses on issues of white supremacy and transphobia in relation to the case of CeCe McDonald, a local African-American transgender woman who's being targeted for prosecution after surviving a racist, transphobic assault (more at http://supportcece.wordpress.com/).

Andrea Jenkins is a community activist and an award-winning writer, poet and playwright. Rose Brewer is a renowned scholar/activist deeply involved in struggles for social transformation. Michael Friedman is the executive director of the the Legal Rights Center, which is representing CeCe. (filmed in Henn County ahead of CeCe's trial scheduled for April 30.)
